Subject: Thank you
Dear Attiya and Latif,
I am writing to send you a heartfelt thank you for your time and skill working with our son Zachary over the past two years. Your efforts with Zachary built upon his skills and strengths. You brought him to his potential , and his achievements far-exceeded our expectations in this ultra-competitive college application process. Thanks to your skill and dedication, Zachary was able to achieve scores on his SAT’s that opened many doors. Even more incredible was that Zachary truly enjoyed every minute with you both. You have great skill in connecting with these students, and they feel valued by you. Those attributes allow them to believe in and reach their potential.
Furthermore, I am convinced that Attiya’s feedback regarding Zach’s college applications was invaluable. She listened to the experiences he wanted to convey, and truly had a sense of who Zachary was as a person and as a student. I am certain that her experience and advice allowed his applications to stand out from thousands of others. We know of other students with even more impressive scores and GPA’s , that were very disappointed by the results of their college applications. I firmly believe that Zach’s applications received the attention and reception we were hoping for, as a result of Attiya’s guidance . We believe that Zach’s applications caught the attention of admissions officers, and allowed him to be recognized as the unique and talented young man that he is.
We are very pleased to that Zachary was accepted to all but one of the schools to which he applied. That last school (Davidson) was one of the most-competitive in the country, and he was offered a position on the wait list. It is with great pride that we announce that Zachary will be attending the College of William and Mary in the Fall.
We are very proud of Zachary, but most important is that Zachary is very proud of himself. The look on his face and the joy in his heart when he received that “big envelope” from William and Mary is something for which will be forever grateful to you both. At the end of the day that is what it is all about…those moments and opportunities that forever change your lives. Thank you so much for making that possible for Zachary and for us.
With the greatest of respect and gratitude,
Monica and Mark Woodward
